3 Bible passages to conquer stress

Stress is real. It can impact every area of your life, including your health.

Doctors have warned us for some time about the need to watch our stress levels. Would it surprise you to know that God doesn’t want you to stress out either?

Since we know God cares about our life, you can be assured that God doesn’t want your life to be overrun by anything other than his amazing grace. But that’s not always easy, is it?

Bills pile up, work get crazy and the kids need to be 3 places at once. There has to be a better way!

Thank God there is.

These three Bible passages won’t make your bills disappear. Work will still need to be done. You’re going to have to figure the kids’ schedules. Whatever is stressing you out will still try to stress you out, even if you read these passages.

We’re confident, though, that learning the promises of God help to replace stress (and stress’s close relative, worry) with grace and peace.

So, the next time you’re feeling stressed, take time to repeat these passages:

Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
