Living Out Our Faith Through Service
At Kelsey, we believe our faith is lived out through acts of love and service. So, every third weekend of the month, we invite you to participate in Serve Weekend—a reminder of our commitment to serving others in our community.
We have two ongoing opportunities where you can make a difference:
- Monthly Food Pantry: Help us distribute food to families in need through our monthly food pantry. We prepare approximately 100 boxes of food for families and lunch bags for unhoused persons every third Saturday of the month.
- Sandwich Sunday: Join us as we prepare 200 sandwiches for Tacos Not Bombs, a local organization that provides meals to our unhoused neighbors. Our sandwiches are part of the weekly lunch bags they distribute.
But service doesn’t stop there. We encourage you to seek other ways to help throughout the month—volunteer with local organizations, support community initiatives, or simply be a loving presence wherever you go. Many groups in our city need extra hands to keep their work going, and we want to be the church that steps up.
Whenever you serve, wear your Our Church Loves Our City t-shirt to show that our church is committed to making a difference. Let’s be a light in our community, not just one weekend a month, but every day.
