New Bibles at Kelsey
At Kelsey Church, we’re always looking for fresh ways to engage with our congregation and make worship relevant for everyone. That’s why, starting this Sunday, we are replacing all Bibles in the pews with the GenZ Bible—the only translation we’ll be using in our weekly services moving forward!
You might be wondering, what exactly is the GenZ Bible? Well, imagine Scripture written entirely in the language of emojis, memes, and popular slang! Yes, it’s true—Jesus didn’t just perform miracles; He “slayed,” and when Moses parted the Red Sea, it was a total “epic win!” Get ready to hear phrases like, “God said, ‘No cap,’” and the Psalms reimagined as TikTok-worthy quotes. We believe this change will resonate with our younger generations in a whole new way!
Of course, the GenZ Bible will come with some lit features, like live-service annotations via Snapchat and TikTok recaps of sermons. Who needs Greek and Hebrew when you have the perfect GIFs and fire emojis to express the Word?
So don’t forget—bring your best emoji game this Sunday, and get ready to experience worship like never before!
